Technovotum is a developer and manufacturer of non-destructive testing equipment.

We carry out comprehensive non-destructive testing of products and materials made of PCM (polymer composite materials).

We provide services for measurement and diagnostics of PCM (polymer composite materials), the supply of portable diagnostic equipment for laboratories of PCM (polymer composite materials) manufacturers.

  • The portable equipment of Technovotum company is intended for detection of delamination, non-adhesives and other integrity failures of polymer-composite materials (PCM), cellular structures with various fillers, as well as for determination of corrosion origins, surface and subsurface defects in metal structures.

  • We manufacture automated non-destructive testing systems for PCM (polymer composite materials) and implement them in the customer's production line. Technovotum robotic test benches are designed for testing parts made of polymer-composite materials (PCM) used in the aircraft industry: airframe elements, helicopter blades, honeycomb panels, as well as wind power, small-scale shipbuilding, pipe fittings, automotive industry, etc.

All operations for selection and change of working tools (laser scanner, sensors) in the test benches are performed automatically.

Application

Application Industries

Six key industries are consumers of PCM (polymer composite materials)

Aerospace

Power structures of housing elements, thermal protection coating, housing panels.

Shipbuilding

Hull structures, foundation frames for engines, fairings of surface ships and submarines, vibration-insulating coupling joints.

Automotive Industry

Power structures of doors and seats: protective elements of bottom, bumper and radiator mounting elements, trunk lids, body panels and body elements, brake discs, thermal and sound insulation.

Wind Power Industry

Propeller blades, rotor cap, pods.

Helicopter construction

Main rotor and tail rotor blades, power elements and fuselage skin, sound and vibration isolation.

Aircraft construction

Fuselage, wings, tail, engine pod and interior details.

Impedance

testing method

Application of impedance method in bonded structures with metal and non-metal sheaths with a thickness of 1.2—1.5 mm (for steel) and up to 2.5 mm for aluminum, with light fillers -honeycomb structures, foam, etc., and search for of delamination in laminated plastics.

Ultrasonic

testing method

Resolution of acoustic analysis that is the ability to detect small flaws separately from each other, is determined by a length of a sound wave

Visual

testing method

is one of the varieties of non—destructive testing methods, primarily based on capabilities of vision, test object is examined in visible light. It can be used to detect: corrosion damage, cracks, defects in the material and surface treatment, etc. It is also carried out with the help of optical devices, which enables to significantly expand the limits of natural eye capabilities.

Eddy current

testing method

The peculiarity of eddy current control is that it can be carried out without contact between the converter and the object. Their interaction occurs at distances sufficient for the free movement of the transducer relative to the object (from fractions of millimeters to several millimeters). Therefore, these methods can provide good test results even at high object velocity.

Impact

testing method

Impact-acoustic testing is a method of free vibrations, based on excitation of freely attenuated elastic vibrations in a test object or part of it and an analysis of these vibrations parameters.

DAMI-C09

MIA (mechanical impedance analysis) flaw detector for aviation materials - DAMI-С09 – is intended for detection of laminations, discontinuities, defects of lack-of-adhesion type and other continuity faults in multi-layer polymeric composite materials (PCM), honeycomb structures with various fillers, as well as for revealing of corrosion spots, surface and subsurface flaws in various metal structures.

СHAMELEON 32+

Ultrasonic phased array (PA) flaw detector with digital signal focusing and automatic determination of flaw dimensions and location coordinates is intended to control the quality of metal and composite materials in transport, oil-gas, nuclear energy, machine-building and other industrial branches.

RS-1-02

Separate-combined impedance transducers have higher sensitivity compared to combined transducers and are used for nondestructive testing of composite materials in conjunction with DAMI-С09 flaw detector and TERI impedance tester.

PADI-8-02K

The PADI-8-02K transducer is designed to detect non-adhesive and delamination defects in adhesive-bonded composite materials, cellular structures based on metals, carbon fiber plastics, and fiberglass, in various combinations with one-way access.

SLIDER M1

The SLIDER M1 and SLIDER M2 scanners are a mechanical system of two-axis dimensioning of "hand" type, designed for probe movement trajectory tracking across a testing surface.

EMK-4-02_20001

Dielectric impermeability probe EMK-4-02_20001. It is designed to test pieces made of conductive materials at devices of DAMI series, to search for conductive inclusions, water, and other unintended inclusions.
